What to expect in a class
Introductory classes begin with a simple guided meditation exercise to reduce stress, tension, and distractions.
This short meditation is followed by a talk on how to apply Buddhist principles into daily life. This may include topics such as improving relationships, gaining peace of mind, learning to love, and dealing with anger.
There is then a second short guided meditation designed to help us gain deeper experience of the subject of the class.
Finally the class then breaks for a short informal discussion, followed by a question and answer session. This gives you the opportunity to share your own experiences and discuss with other people who have the same wish to improve their lives.
After the class
After the class there is a chance to relax and the ideas presented in the teaching with other participants.
